Details

First taking flight in April 1935, the North American AT-6 Texan became a popular low wing mono-plane trainer for pilots of the US armed forces and militaries of other countries.  The Texan was the primary single-engine advanced trainer for pilot trainees of the United States Army Air Forces and US Navy (known as the SNJ).  It was also used by the Royal Air Force and other air forces of the British Commonwealth during World War II (known as Harvards).  The AT-6 Texans have been flown by as many as 70 different countries during various times of service.  Due to the popularity of the Texan/Harvard, many are still flying today as Exhibition aircraft in various airshows.

This model kit builds the North American AT-6 Texan USAAF X-151 No. 42-43925 AT-6C-NT (1943).

Paper Model Details:  Over 130 parts including detailed construction diagrams, fuselage and wing formers, simulated detailed wheel wells, detailed landing gear, detailed cockpit, optional clear or printed canopy, graphic textures and realistic weathering/surface features.
