1/33 Harvard Mk. II AT-6 Texan Royal New Zealand AF

A single-engine advanced trainer aircraft used to train pilots of the United States Army Air Forces and Navy.
It was also used by the Royal Air Force and other air forces of the British Commonwealth during World War II.
Texans (Harvards) have been flown by as many as 70 different countries
and many are still flying today as Exhibition aircraft.

NZ1076 is a long time surviving veteran of the New Zealand Air Force.
Beginning RAF/RNZAF service in 1944, 1076 also flew with the Red Checkers Aerobatic team in the mid 1970s.
Retired in 1978, the aircraft was sold and survives today in restored flying condition.
