North American AT-6 Texan
Paraguay Air Force T-6D Texan 1974-1979

Finished in the brightly coloured paint scheme of the Escuadrilla Ara-Sunu ...the Paraguay Air Force's Aerobatic Demonstration Team.
The unit was founded in 1974 with 4 T-6D from Brazil. The first flight demonstration took place on December 10, 1974. During 1975 the unit received two additional T-6D. It was only on December 9, 1979, that the demonstration unit was disbanded and its aircraft distributed to the Grupo Aerotáctico.

A single-engine advanced trainer aircraft used to train pilots of the United States Army Air Forces and Navy.
It was also used by the Royal Air Force and other air forces of the British Commonwealth during World War II.
Texans (Harvards) have been flown by as many as 70 different countries and many are still flying today as Exhibition aircraft.
