Details

The North American A-36 Apache "Invader" was the ground-attack/dive bomber version of the North American P-51A Mustang, from which it could be distinguished by the presence of rectangular, slatted dive brakes above and below the wings. During WW2 a total of 500 A-36 dive bombers served in North Africa, the Mediterranean, Italy and the China-Burma-India theater, before being withdrawn from operational use in 1944.

This model features historically accurate colors and markings. It also has photo-realistic features including simulated wing brakes, nose cannons, detailed propeller blades, cockpit canopy and landing gear, optional landing gear bay inserts and dual wing mounted bombs.

This kit also contains extra parts to build the Apache in a "combat" version! with heavy weathering, smoke trails, paint chips and even bullet holes! If you enjoy building this paper model, please contribute a review!
