Netherlands AF F-104 Starfighter Stomp Rocket Paper Model
Mike Bauer\'s \"Paper Stomp Rockets\" are real flying card model Rockets and Airplanes!
Powered by a compressed air system that you build (thats the \"Stomp\" part!), these \"rocket\" flyers can soar over and over again. Some Paper Stomp Rocket designs will fly to heights over 150ft! They are completely reusable, and come with replaceable NoseCones for quick repairs. Every Paper Model Stomp Rocket includes detailed assembly, launch and flight instructions and diagrams, including plans for the Stomp Bottle Launch System.
The Aircraft \"Fighter\" Series features Paper Model Stomp Rockets as detailed representations of famous Fighter Aircraft. The Lockheed F104 Starfighter was designed by Kelly Johnson during the Korean War to counter the Soviet designed Mig 19 and 21. It is the first Mach 2 fighter the U.S. Air Force used, and the first operational Mach 2 fighter in the world!
Many countries bought the F-104 for defending the air space above their countries. In the USA, NASA used them as chase planes when testing new aircraft, because of their speed and height capabilities. F-104 Starfighters around the World sported various liveries and paint schemes, many of which are the inspiration for the carefully reproduced paint schemes on our models.
This model sports a paint scheme and markings inspired by the Netherlands Air Force.
